Host and Creator of the Gong Show, Chuck Barris, Dead at 87 Years!

 

 


Aww, this is sad. The host and creator of the 1970s hit show, the Gong Show passed away from natural causes at his home in Palisades NY, he was 87 yrs old. Not only did he create the Gong Show, which I loved. He also created The Dating Game and the Newlywed Game, 2 other favorites of mine. The Gong Show was a talent show, with 3 celebrity judges and Chuck as the host. The act would come out and perform, if the any of the judges didn't like the act they could hit the gong and have the act booted off stage. Sometimes all 3 judges would hit the gong at the same time. LOL This show also introduced us to the Unknown Comic, who would come out and tell truly tasteless jokes to fill in the time. Chuck was a little hottie too. He used to wear his shirts open to his naval showing off his very sexy hairy torso. Yum yum baby!!! Chuck is survived by his wife of 16 yrs. Rest in peace Chuck.

Magic Johnson's Son EJ Johnson, Goes From Fat and Flabby to Slim and Trim After Weight Loss Surgery!

 
 
Magic Johnson's son EJ Johnson had weight loss surgery about 2yrs ago and he has finally met his weight loss goal. He has lost 180 lbs. EJ would never state how much he weighed prior to the weight loss surgery. But I am gonna guess he was somewhere between a hungry hungry hippo and an Orcha! LOL However, after his surgery he has slimmed down to about 175 to 180lbs and he debuted his new look at the Hermes Mens Fashion show in Los Angeles. EJ is a reality star on Rich Kids of Beverly Hills but he now looks like a model from any Paris fashion runway. EJ showed up in a black sheer off the shoulder body suit, high waisted black pants with giant thigh high slits, black suede boots and a black duster which he wore hanging off of his wrists. And to top it all off, he was carrying a deep purple crocodile Kelly Bag with 2 diamond chokers and a full smokey eye makeup. He slayed everyone!!! You better work gurl!!! Joni Sledge Founding Member of Sister Sledge, Dead at 60 Years!

 

 
Joni Sledge, one of the founding members of the legendary 1970s singing group Sister Sledge was found dead in her home in Phoenix Arizona yesterday. she was just 60 yrs old. The cause of death has not been determined yet. Joni and 4 of her sisters formed the singing group Sister Sledge way back in the 1970s but didn't find fame until after they met Nile Rogers and Bernard Edwards from the singing group Chic. The duo wrote all of the songs for groups 1978 album "We Are Family". The first track off the album went top10, it was called "The Greatest Dancer", but the song that had everyone on the floor dancing to was the anthem "We Are Family". Too bad that would be there only #1 hit song. Joni is survived by her grown son her sisters and other relatives. Rest in peace Joni.

Congratulations go out to singer and actor Tyrese Gibson who secretly married his live in girlfriend on Valentine's Day this year. Her name is Samantha Lee and she is Ecuadorian, Jamaican and Afro-American. She has a whole slew of degrees including a masters. So she is smart and beautiful. Good luck to the happy couple!!!

Actor Bill Paxton, Dead at 61 Yrs!

 
 
Actor Bill Paxton has passed away from complications of heart surgery yesterday. he was just 61 yrs old. Bill was currently starring on TV in Training Day along with his 23 yr old son. But Bill also starred in one of my favorite movies of all time, Aliens with Sojurney Weaver. Bill is survived by his wife and a son and a daughter. Rest in Peace Bill.

Legendary Actor Robert Dinero Goes Off on Wife in Manhattan Bar in NYC During An Argument!

 


Legendary actor Robert Dinero goes off on wife, Grace Hightower during an argument at the Manhattan Bar in NYC. He snapped at her, "I wouldn't have to keep making shitty movies if you didn't spend all of my money!". Hot damyum! That was a read! hahaha This is in reference to Grace's coffee company which seems to be a money pit of sorts. (Robert is a major investor in her company.)  Her company, Grace Hightower Coffee of Ruwanda is sold around the country at various businesses like the Ace Hotel, the Breslin, Salvation Burger, Salvation Taco, White Gold, the Williamsburg Hotel and De Niro’s raft of hotels and restaurants, including the Greenwich Hotel and the Nobu chain.

 In recent years, comedians such as Joel McHale have teased De Niro over his choice of roles, some of which — such as those in “Dirty Grandpa,” “Grudge Match” and “The Intern” — may not live up to his status as the multi-Oscar-winning actor from “Raging Bull,” “Taxi Driver” and “The Godfather: Part II.” Robert is an academy award winning actor, he has won 2 Oscars so far. I liked him in Grudge Match but that was quite a few steps down from his usual acting gigs. LOL

Actor Richard Hatch, Dead at 71 Years

 


Awww, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that actor Richard Hatch, who  portrayed Captain Apollo on the original Battlestar Galactica passed away at a hospice in Los Angeles, Ca from pancreatic cancer. He was just 71 years old. He is survived by his brother and his son. Rest in peace Richard.
