The Pioneer Woman on the Food Network is NASTY!!!

Have you ever checked out this show on the Food Network called the Pioneer Woman? Well, I watched it for the first time this morning and I was gagging with a spoon!!! This show follows some blogger chick who lives on a large ranch somewhere with her husband and children. This is modern day living, but they live like pigs from the past. On this particular episode, it was one of her sons' birthday. So she was making blueberry pancakes for breakfast. I dont know how she started the recipe, because she was already well into it when I tuned in. But what grossed me out was when her children came back to the house from herding cows and riding horses, NOT one of her children washed his or her hands b4 sitting down at the table to eat the pancakes. Do you know how many germs were on their hands? THOUSANDS!!! Does she know how many parasites that they could be ingesting from touching cow feces or horse feces? I think she needs to watch the episode of Monsters Inside me where the 17yr old girl was working in the yard of her Washington State home and goes inside to have some lunch, and doesn't wash her hands. And a month later she starts feeling movement in her left eye. Well to make a long story short, she is now blind in her left eye. She contracted a parasite from deer feces that she came into contact with from the yard work. It all could have been avoided had she JUST WASHED HER HANDS PRIOR TO EATING LUNCH!!!! OMG!!! That is just so BASIC!!!
