Fashion Designer and Icon Oscar De La Renta, Dead at 82 yrs

The fashion world has lost a great talent today. Oscar de la Renta, passed away at home today in Connecticut, he was 82 yrs old. No word on the cause of death but the media thinks it was from cancer since he had been fighting cancer for the last 8 yrs. Oscar was born in the Dominican Republic and was known for evening wear and smart chic suits that those evening wear ladies wore to luncheons at La Cirque. hahaha He was also known for voluminous skirts, rich colors and exquisite embroideries.Oscar is survived by an adopted son, step daughter and her husband and his second wife. Rest in Peace Oscar.
