Oh NO! Another One!!! Legendary Actress Lauren Bacall Died Today, 89 Yrs Old!!!

Oh NO!!! Another celebrity died today. Legendary actress Lauren Bacall died today from a stroke in her NYC apt in the Dakota on the upper west side of Manhattan. Lauren is most famous for who she married and some amazing performances in the 1940s classics like ":To Have and Have Not" and "Key Largo".  I remember her mostly from her films in the 1960s and 1970s, like "Applause", "Sex and the Single Girl" and "Murder on the Orient Express". She was married briefly to legendary actor Humphrey Bogart. from 1945 to 1957 when he passed away. (Aww, isn't that sweet, it really was until death did they part.) Bogart was 25 yrs her senior but theirs was a true love story! Lauren briefly had a serious fling with Frank Sinatra after Bogarts' death but he broke off the engagement after Swifty Lazar spilled the 411 on the proposal to famous columnist Louella Parsons! (Wow! I recognize all of those names!!! They were all legends in Hollywood! ) Anyway, Lauren is survived by her 3 children (Stephen and Leslie Bogart and her son Sam Robards from her 2nd marriage to Jason Robards). Rest in Peace Lauren. I hope you and Humphrey are back together. :-)
