Awww, man oh man, this is a hot ass mess. Food Network Star and Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri files papers to dissolve and close Johnny Garlic restaurants, but business partner Steve Gruber files papers to stop closure. Gruber wants to buy Fieri's shares of Johnny Garlic Inc. and keep all 7 Johnny Garlics' open and running as usual. I don't know why, the food there isn't all that, it's over priced and pretentious and cray cray. Who wants to eat donkey sauce and elk. What the hell IS donkey sauce, anyway??!?!?!! hahahaha
I knew Guy wasn't too happy with the Johnny Garlic's chain anyway, because earlier this year he suddenly shuttered the Sacramento location and closed it down like over night. One cook has just gotten hired 3 days prior to the closing and showed up to his shift and found the restaurant closed. Someone alerted the media and Channel 13 up here sent out a crew for a live shot and interviewed him. That was so cold, dude didn't even see it coming. And Guy and Gruber dropped the ball by not notifying him and the other employees that they had closed that location. Sigh!
Hey Guy, get it together dude. People are counting on you. Just sell your shares to Gruber and let him keep the restaurants open if he wants to.
