Wow, I knew this was coming. I'm just surprised that he lasted this long and died from what he died from. Former embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford passed away today from complications of pleomorphic liposarcoma, a form of cancer that occurs in the fatty portions of the body. He was just 46 yrs old. If you recall, Rob admitted to buying and smoking crack cocaine and he admitted to drinking alcohol and driving.
The man who replaced Ford as mayor, John Tory, offered his condolences, calling Ford "a man who spoke his mind and who ran for office because of the deeply felt convictions that he had." Rest in peace Rob.
