Actor Michael Jace has been convicted of 2nd degree murder in his wife's killing. Jace portrayed a police officer on the Shield. Jace's defense attorney was seeking a manslaughter conviction claiming that when he shot his wife he only intended to inflict pain and that he his plan was not to kill her. Then maybe you shouldn't shoot her in the back, dumbass.
However, Jace's 10-year-old son testified that he heard his father say, "'If you like running, then run to heaven,'" before firing the second time. Awww, damn, that sounds like you intended to kill her, right? Liar liar pants on fire!!!
Deputy District Attorney Tannaz Mokayef said the potential sentence would be 40 years to life in prison.
