OMG!! I just cannot believe that this is true. But it is. A San Antonio, Texas police officer has been fired for giving a homeless man a shit sandwich. The officer, Matthew Luckhurst took shit and placed it between two slices of bread and then placed it in a Styrofoam container and subsequently place the container next to a sleeping homeless man. Then the moron bragged about it to fellow officers. Well, his fellow officers were so disgusted they turned Luckhurst into Internal Affairs. Internal Affairs then launched an investigation and Police Chief William McManus decided to fire Luckhurst. I think he should have been arrested too. That is just one of the most grossest, vilest, and NASTY things that one human can do to another human. I also agree that he should have been fired. Its bad enough that the homeless get attacked by stupid young people sometimes, but for a cop whose job it is to protect and serve to do something like this. (Shakes head in disgust.) It's just so sad.
“This was a vile and disgusting act that violates our guiding principles of ‘treating all with integrity, compassion, fairness and respect,’ ” Police Chief William McManus said in a statement to NBC-affiliate WCSH. “The fact that his fellow officers were so disgusted with his actions that they reported him to internal affairs demonstrates that this type of behavior will never be tolerated.” I just hope that Luckhurst doesn't go get a job in another jurisdiction. He is definitely one of those people who should NOT be a police officer!!!
