Wow, and the hits just keep on coming. At 8:55 am this morning, Carrie Fisher passed away after suffering a major heart attack on Friday on a flight returning to the USA from London. She was just 60 yrs old. Carrie was an actress, an author and an activist. She was the daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher. One of her books, Postcards from the Edge was made into a movie by the same name starring the legendary actresses Meryl Strep and Shirley MacLaine. This is the movie where we learned that Meryl could sing. And the story was semi autobiographical. Carrie was a long time addict and was diagnosed as bipolar way back in 1985. Carrie is survived by her only child, daughter Billie Lourd and her mother Debbie Reynolds. Rest in peace Carrie.
