The Police in Ecuador have arrested the midget sized guy who stole the pot of gold flakes out of the back of an Armored Truck in NYC back in September 2016. The thief, whose name is Julio Nivelo, aged 53 yrs is a native of Ecuador. After he stole the pot of gold flakes valued at $1.6 million USD, he fled to Florida then to California and then finally to Ecuador. Dayum, I had my cousin who lives in Southern California on the look out for him. We wanted that reward. LOL Oh well. Turns out that Julio has an extensive arrest record and he had been deported to his home country of Ecuador at least 4 times over the past few years. As soon as NYPD had been notified of his identity, I knew it was just a matter of time b4 they picked him up. You can run but you cannot hide from the NYPD!!! LOL No word on if they found him with any of the missing gold flakes or if he had a large sum of money on him. I believe that when you sell stolen goods, you only get like 10% to 50% on the dollar depending on what it is that you stole. Since gold flakes are not traceable because you can melt it down and turn it into any object you wish. He probably got top dollar for th e gold flakes.
I'll let you know when and if he is deported back to the USA.
