Actors and Actresses Who have Passed Up Major Roles

Lately there has been a rash of articles on famous actors and actresses who have passed or nearly passed up major roles and personally, I don't give a flying fuck! Why is this news? Since they didn't portray that character, we will never know how it would have turned out, so why should we invest time in what could have been? or how that performance would have turned out? We will NEVER know because it never took place!!! One recent story was about Marie Osmond and how she turned down the role of Sandy in the Original Grease Movie with John Travolta. I'm glad she turned it down, I don't think she would have made a good Sandy. She claims that the script she read was not the same script that was made into the movie and Olivia Newton-John portrayed a much toned down Sandy than the one that was in the script that was sent to her, (Marie). Yawn!  Big Whoop! Next!
