Washington State Bus Driver Shoves Passenger ...Passenger Charged With 3 Degree Assault!
Okay, this is some bullshit. I have watched this video a couple of times and I am pissed!!! This is how it went down. Apparently this black passenger was on the bus cursing and the driver asked him to stop it at least 3 separate times. By the 3rd time the driver had had it and got up and asked the passenger to get off the bus. They make it to the back door and the passenger is taking his time in getting off of the bus. Words are exchanged about punching each other in the face and the passenger tells the driver if he punches him they "will fight to the death". So the driver shoves him with both hands to his chest, the passenger shoves the driver back with both hands and then the driver shoves the guy and then takes a swing on the passenger. I think the driver then punches the passenger and what the hell did he do that for. The passenger just unleashes on him a barrage of punches and pins him down on one of the seats. Another passenger in a tan jacket comes and pulls the original passenger off of the driver. The video is altered because it cuts from one camera view to another during the altercation. But that still doesn't discount the fact that the driver put his hands on the passenger first. Therefore he initiated the assault and he should have been charged, not the passenger. The passenger sure did put a good beating on the driver, so hopefully, the next time the driver is in this situation, he wont start something he cant finish. hahahaha In my opinion, the driver was wrong. He never should have gotten up out of his seat and confronted the passenger, that's what the radio or his cell phone is for. He should have called for the police. That's how AC Transit drivers have done it for years, down in Oakland. They don't get into fights with the passengers, if a passenger is acting up, they call for Security or the Police. I think this driver in this Washington State incident is lucky to be alive, he could have been killed. He didn't know if this passenger had a knife or a gun. If I were an attorney, I would represent the passenger for free and I would sue the bus driver and the city where it happened. The driver was wrong!!!!!
