Real or Make believe?

Ok the other night on American Idol, during the performances. Ryan asks Simon Cowell how a contestant can have a moment during a performance and Simon gets mouthy with him. Ryan doesn't answer back but walks right off the stage directly at Simon in an aggressive manner. And then in a low voice, he tells Simon to give the contestant some constructive criticism and dont just be rude. Was that whole incident staged or was it for real?? Then on the elimination show at the beginning, Simon attempts to solicit an apology from Ryan and tells him not to be so aggressive again. I think 90% of their antics are staged. The producers of the show are all about making this show as dramatic as they can make it. The show is dramatic enough, because you NEVER know who will end up in the bottom 3, you never know who will sing their ass off , and you never know who will crash and burn. I say cut it out with all of the fake drama. Ok?
