Six Men Have Been Charged With Fruad in Connection to a Non-Existent Film Starring Donald Sutherland

Okay this is a hot mess. Six men, Samuel Braslau, Rand Chortkoff, Stuart Rawitt and 3 others not specifically named have been charged with fraud for bilking more that 60 businessmen into pouring funds to them to make a WWII film called The Smuggler, starring Donald Sutherland and Jean Calude Van Damme. Okay, that should have been their first clue, Sutherland would never work with Van Damme! hahahahaha He is too highbrow to do that. hahahaahaha Braslau and Chortkoff formed a production company called Mutual Entertainment LLC way back 2011 and have been bilking investors ever since. All of the monies collected was siphoned off into these mens' own personal accounts, about $1.8 million USD. Two federal grand juries brought indictments and 3 of the men have plead not guilty but one is on the lam, all face up to 20 yrs in federal prison if convicted.
