Lauryn Hill is still a whackadoo!!! Lauryn Hill was supposed to make a surprise Grammy appearance with the Weekend and sing his song, "In The Night". However, that didn't happen because she claims that she had other performances for the week and weekend prior to the Grammys and she didn't even think that she would have time to fly out to Los Angeles and rehearse in time. Blah, blah, blah, blah, bullshit!!! hahahaha
Lauryn and her team released the following statement, trying to mitigate any backlash, The Grammy’s announced a performance by Ms. Lauryn Hill prematurely and without approval. Ms. Hill had concerts all weekend, leaving no time to prepare, and was uncertain she would even be able to make it to LA in time to rehearse for the event. Any performance that could have happened was never confirmed, and should not have been advertised as such. Ms. Hill was invited to do a collaboration with an artist she appreciates. The performance was intended to be a surprise and unfortunately due to its last minute nature, was unable to come to fruition.
Gurl are you stupid or do you think that John Q. Public is stupid? The Grammys didn't wake up on the Saturday before the Grammys and ask you to perform. I am sure they contacted you weeks and probably MONTHS prior. If you scheduled performances the weekend prior to the Grammys, that's on your dumbass and no one elses!!! I remember watching Beyonce behind the scenes movie and in it she was talking about how she did everything, from the lighting sequences, hand picking the dancers, her schedule, and how owning her own plane was so helpful. But then she started complaining about flying from city to city and only having 3 hrs to get ready after landing in her private jet which has a beautiful bedroom on it. (Rolls eyes!!!) Look maybe you shouldn't schedule bouncing around from city to city with no down time in between. But I am sure that you can luxuriate and sleep and rest in that GORGEOUS bed in your private jet while you are bouncing all over the world. So don't pretend like you are standing in line to fly commercial and being stuck in a coach seat. Gurl 'cause that aint how you roll. .LOL HAH!!!
So Lauryn Hill, if you were too busy to perform at the Grammys, YOU should have told them last week instead of waiting until the last minute. Stupid is, as stupid does! (OOOOHHHH SNAP!!!!)
