I hate stupid people. And this definitely sounds like a case of some dude who is way too stupid!!! Brandy Milliner claims that he won the jackpot for the Super Lotto Plus game on Aug 8, 2015. And he submitted that ticket to the Lottery Commission but received a letter back in Jan 2016 informing him that his ticket was "too damaged" to be verified as the winning ticket. Say what now? Did this fool mail in the ticket or did he bring the ticket into the Lottery office in Sacramento California?
Brandy fucked up from the jump here. First of all, if you are the winner of a major Jackpot, or hell any amount over $600, you have to bring the ticket into the lottery office in Sacramento. If dude couldn't afford to buy a plane ticket to Sacramento, all he had to do was go to the airport and show his ticket to any airline and ask them to fly him to Sacramento. And then he could have let the lottery office verify his ticket and give him some paperwork stating such. And he would have been all set. I remember one guy who won a big jackpot and he took his lottery papers to a Ford Dealer and got a new car on his signature alone.
Brandy's biggest problem was that he did not protect his lottery ticket. And he also didn't photocopy it b4 he sent it in to the lottery office. When I win the lottery, I'm gonna have a friend drive me to the office and make a video of me turning in my ticket. And I will have a photocopy of said ticket back home. because that's what I'm going to frame and hang on the wall in my mansion later one. DUH!!! hahahaha
Anyway, the lottery office claims that they never sent Brandy a letter and they say they never received his ticket and have no record of any claims by him. He is just wasting his time. There is no way he can prove that he won without the ticket. And if it was damaged, even if he won, he would not get paid if they can't verify the numbers on the ticket. So it's a lose lose situation for poor old Brandy. And who names their son Brandy. Brandy is female name!!! hahahaha
The deadline to claim the jackpot was Feb 4, 2016.
