Okay, this is absolutely disgusting and I am so happy that West Virginia Police and Marshall University are doing the right thing. Running back Stewart Butler saw two gay men kissing on the street back in April and then proceeded to attack them both verbally and physically. These 2 men were doing nothing but minding their own business when this moron decided he was gonna teach them a lesson for publicly displaying some affection towards each other. One of the victims, (both were not named in the article), took cell phone video of the attack. As soon as Butler was arrested and the details of his arrest were made known to the University, the immediately kicked him off of the team. I think that he should be expelled from the University as well. Hello!!!
Butler was arraigned before a Cabell County magistrate on two misdemeanor battery counts Wednesday and was released on $10,000 bond.
Detective Chris Sperry, said "evidence in the case has been turned over to federal authorities for review of possible civil rights violations." Good job detective, this is clearly a hate crime and their civil rights were definitely violated. I hope you can get federal charges against Butler, that ugly ass piece of shit. I bet Butler is an undercover homo!! Why else would he have gotten so angry after he saw the 2 men kiss? Good Lord it's 2015, not 1715. When are Gays going to be free to kiss and hold hands in public just like straight couples in every single state of the Union?!!!!! That is our God given right as US Citizens! That's the pursuit of happiness as guaranteed in the US Constitution Damnit!!!
