North Carolina Cop Loses Suit Against Starbucks Over Spilled Coffee!

Hah! Lt Matthew Kohr lost his suit against Starbucks over a cup of coffee he spilled on his lap. Lt Kohr claimed that last year, a cup of coffee that he was served, when he went to pick it up. The lid popped off  like a Jack in the Box and the cup crumbled spilling the hot coffee all over his lap. Causing his Chron's Disease to flare up which caused him to have part of his large intestine removed and the hot coffee caused 3 degree burns on his thigh and penis and scrotum causing him loss of intimacy with his wife. Both sides agreed to a majority verdict instead of a unanimous verdict so with a majority verdict, the jury decided that Starbucks was not at fault. Even though, they failed to provide a sleeve or an extra cup when serving Lt Kohr his coffee that day. I think they should have been at least 50 % at fault for those 2 facts alone! Sigh, oh well. Better luck next time Lt Kohr. hahahaha
