Texas Man Finds Treasure Hidden In 3 Drawer Chest

Okay I don't agree with what went down on this at all. A Texas man, Emil Knodell, who likes to buy antiques at estate sales bought a 3 drawer chest of drawers with a marble top on it for $100.00.  When Knodell and a worker from the estate sale tipped the chest of drawers on its side to load it into his truck, they heard a bunch of metal noise. So they sat the chest of drawers back upright and examined it more closely. The 3 drawers were empty but they found a 4th drawer hidden in the molding on the bottom. So they open it and found a treasure trove of gold, paper currency, military medals, jewelry with emeralds and diamonds, civil war memorabilia , dog tags, and a lock of hair. So the estate worker says let's call the owner. Ump! Excuse me, but I just bought this chest and its contents, is what I would have said. But not Knodell, he agreed with the estate worker to return all of this stuff to the previous owner. Who is the son of the guy who used to own it, the father had passed away and the son was getting rid of belongings. Maybe the son should have done a better job examining this chest more thoroughly. A lot of older furniture has hidden drawers and compartments because that was how people in the 1800s and 1700s kept their valuables. Not every town had a bank with safety deposit boxes or a safe. Anyway, Knodell says he is a former Marine and he just wouldn't feel right about keeping the stuff hidden in the secret drawer. He stated, "I bought a chest not the contents". Whatever dude! hahahaha
