Locked Up Abraod In Saudi Arabia
Wow! Did you know that it is a crime, punishable by death to be a homosexual in Saudi Arabia? I did not know this and I was completely shocked to find it out. I caught an episode of Locked Up Abroad about a Male Nurse named Stephen from Scotland who as having money problems but found a job in Saudi Arabia making tons of money. Right before Stephen and his friend Gemma were to leave for Saudi Arabia, they received brochures and written information about the laws of Saudi Arabia. Well, Stephen was surprised to see that homosexualtiy is a crime punishable by death. So he decides that while he is in SA, he will not have sex with anyone at all. Yeah, right! That was such a stupid promise to himself. Everyone knows how they are and if you cannot be honest with yourself, then you are a pretty pathetic person. So Stephen and his friend Gemma fly to Rhiyad Saudi Arabia. There is a man waiting at the Airport for them to take them to their apt. They were told that they would be living together. However, things get ugly real fast right from the jump. When they get to the van, Gemma is told to get in back alone. Stephen is told to ride up front with the driver. Then when they get to the apt building, Gemma is dropped off and Stephen is told to stay in the van. He is then taking to another apt building which is roach infested and very much in disrepair. If I were him, I would have been on the first plane out the next day! But not this brain surgeon. hahahaha So they stay and go to work at this hospital. At the hospital they are free to talk to one another and hang out. 8 months go by and Stephen is getting overwhelmed by his urge to be with someone, so after going to a party at a palace held by a young handsome Prince. Stephen decides that he HAS to get some sex. So with the help of a friend who gave him a computer program that blocks the Saudi Government from tracking and or monitoring his Internet traffic he goes on line cruising for some sex. Where he meets this 26 yr old Saudi named Fred. They meet for coffee and subsequently have sex. For the next 5 months they are in a relationship. But one day while walking in the market, Fred tries to kiss Stephen and Stephen pushes him away. Shortly thereafter, Stephen dumps Fred. Now in the confessional, he claims that it was because Fred needed more life experiences. But I think it was because Fred tried to kiss him in public putting his life in danger. So, Stephen has now been in SA for more than a year and he has paid off all of his debts and has been able to save some money as well. Now the smart thing to do would be to leave, right? Wrong, not Stephen, he's horny again and goes back on line and hooks up with another Saudi National named Abdullah. They have sex the first day and that was all that Stephen wanted so he doesn't call Abdullah and Abdullah doesn't call him for several weeks. Then out of the clear blue sky, Abdullah calls him and makes a coffee date. But during the conversation, Abdullah asks Stephen if he has any alcohol? Stephen finds that strange but brushes it off. Abdullah lived in the UK for awhile and was very well educated. So Stephen just thinks maybe Abdullah wants to get drunk. Well so that night, Stephen is making his way to the coffee shop to meet Abdullah and he turns down this alley as a short cut , when all of a sudden he hears footsteps approaching him.. So he turns to see several Saudi men approaching him. Stephen starts to run away but is tackled, he hits one of the men in the face but then he is punched in the back of the head by another guy. He is arrested and one of the men asks him if he is a homosexual? He denies it, but then they search him and pull out his phone, where they show him a text message he sent to Abdullah about the alcohol. Wow, stupid is as stupid does. Stephen was warned about this very thing, do not date Saudi locals because if they get mad at you they will turn you into the police, and also do not keep text mssgs or phone logs to guys. So to make a long story short, Stephen is arrested, and interrogated where he is made to sign a statement that he is a homosexual and that he sells alcohol to his friends. At least that is what he is told it says, it is written in Arabic so he cannot read its contents. Stephen is held for a few days and then released without explanation. Now he wants to leave SA and return home to Scotland. But he cannot because the hospital has his passport and will not return it to him. So Stephen comes up with a plan to leave, he knows that if he has a sick relative, the rule is, that he can go home to visit the relative. So he calls his sister and has her write a letter and fax it to him stating that their mother is gravely ill and wants to see him. So he takes the letter to the Human Resources office at the hospital, but the guy in there refuses to return his passport or let him leave, not unless Stephen gets a letter from the police stating that he is not a criminal and was never arrested there in Saudi Arabia. Well Stephen knows that is not true, but he goes to the Police and asks for such a letter. They take his finger prints and tell him to come back in 10 days. Its 10 days of hell, but when it is up he returns to the police and asks if the letter is ready? So the guy at the desk is searching through the pile of papers and finally on the bottom of the pile he finds the letter for Stephen and hands it to him. Stephen takes it back to the hospital where he receives his passport. He then makes a reservation for the next flight back home to Scotland. Where he returns without further incidence. He still to this day doesn't know why he was released from jail nor why the charges were dropped and his arrest erased. He is just glad the whole thing is over with. Yeah, well it never would have happened if he had just kept his dick in his pants. And if he had just listened to the coworker who told him to stay away from the locals. I mean, how stupid can you be? Either follow the rules or pay the consequences! Stephen was talking about how every needs human contact from time to time. Look, dude, you had 5 months of human contact. And luckily you got away with it unscathed! Why would you tempt fate again and pick up some needy bitch who when you rejected him, tried to get even with you? If you really wanted some sex again, you should have left and went home or took a vacation to another country where they execute you for being gay!!! DUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
