If you really love to travel and want to know what and who to look out for, this is the show for you. I love it! The host is kind of a douche bag. He's supposed to be a long time news reporter but he doesn't have the sense God gave a billygoat! He travels all over Europe looking to get scammed so he can report it in this show. I have to say, that I have removed Prague in the Czech Rpublic and Buenos Aires off of my bucket list. In Prague, if you go stay out of the Euro taxis. They will over charge you by 300%. The host is Connor Woodman, a British National. He's kind of cute but just dumb as dirt. hahahaha Anyway, In Prague those Euro taxis took him a very short distance about 6km which should have costed him 231 Crowns about $10.00 usd, but the driver charged him 785 Crowns about more than $30.00 USD. Then on the street, he bought a hot dog for 60 Crown, he gave the guy a 2,000 Crown note and the guy gave him change for a 1,000 Crown note. Connor told the guy he owed him another 1,000 Crown and without apologizing, the guy coughed up the rest of Connor's money. This also happened when he bought a bottle of water for 50 Crown, giving the vendor 2,000 Crown note and at first the vendor only gave him change for a 1,000 Crowns. So you are not safe buying food in the street nor are you safe from the Taxi drivers. Some of the Taxi drivers will attack you if you challenge the Taxi fee and some of them also carry guns. So there is a possibility that you will get shot. Connor also tried to buy drugs in the streets of Prague and he didn't receive drugs. What he got was powdered sugar and flour. Connor went back to the drug dealer and asked him do people ever complain about the drugs he sells, he said no not really. Hmmm, he's lucky that they aren't US crackheads. He'd be getting a beatdown in a heartbeat! Or have someone pull a drive by on him. Then Connor has a taxi driver take him to a club where he can get a "massage" at. or spend time in a hot tub with a naked chick. Well that's not exactly what happened when he got to this club. He's sitting at the bar having a drink when this chick asks if she can sit with him, then she asks him if he wanted to go with her somewhere private. So he goes into this room that is sparsely furnished and sparsely lit and sits on the couch talking to the chick. Then this big guy storms into the room and punches him in the face. The big guy then tells Connor that he cant have sex with the girl and spending time with her is not free, Connor now owes him $500 euros. All of a sudden, the Police show up and start checking passports. Connor doesn't tell the Police what is happening and they leave but Connor is now trapped in the bar. The door man refuses to allow him to leave the bar until he pays the $500 euros. And the big man returns to collect the money. But Connor doesn't have it, he only has $386 Euros on him and so they accept that instead. When he leaves the bar, the same taxi driver who brought him is outside waiting for him. OMG that could have ended so badly!!!
Buenos Aires is even worst than Prague! In Buenos Aires, when you take a cab ride, the cabbie gives you your proper change but, its counterfeit money, not real money. And walking down the street, the pickpockets will rob you quicker than you can blink an eye. Connor spent the majority of this show on the counterfeit money. Unfortunately, it's not just the Taxis that are passing the counterfeit bills to the tourists, bars, banks, money exchange booths etc are all in on the passing of the counterfeit bills, according to the criminals he interviewed.
