TNT's Mob City

Wow, this was an amazingly mediocre short series. If you know me, you know that I love me some mob type movies and TV series. I am still pissed that the Sopranos ended and even more pissed at that fucked up finale. The whole family goes out to some hole in the wall restaurant for dinner and no one gets whacked. What a complete piece of crap ass writing that was. Look, if you are going to end such an explosive series like that, then end it. Kill off all or most of the main characters. Or send everyone to prison. But PUHLEASE don't be a chickenshit $2.00 hack and just send everyone out to a quiet dinner. That's so underwhelming!!!!!!! Just like Mob City, in my opinion, they whack people just the thrill of whacking. If there weren't so many hot guys on this show, I probably wouldn't watch it. hahahaha The lead Detective Teague, portrayed by super hottie Jon Bernthal. Dark hair, olive skin, dark eyes, hairy chest, 5'10" ish, 175lbs of pure GORGEOUSNESS!!! Yum yum!!!! Then there is Milo Ventimiglia from Heroes, who portrays a mob lawyer. He is STILL GORGEOUS!!! Another hottie is Neal McDonough who portrays the LAPD Captain William H. Parker. Wavy blond hair, blue lipid pools for eyes, muscles for days all on a 6 ft/180lb frame. Super YUM YUM!!! hahahaha Then there is Ed Burns, who portrays Bugsy Siegel. Ed still has his killer good looks, dark hair and blue eyes, but he has really let himself go. From the neck down, he looks like a giant umpa lumpa. hahahahaha There was a scene where he is called to the front door of his house and all he has on is guitar to hide his nakedness. Well he was so wide, he took up my entire wide screen on my wide screen tv. Ed's belly is so big it needs it's own zip code. Ed Burns is so fat, that if you wrote GoodYear on his side, you'd think he was the GoodYear Blimp! (ouch, that was a read. hahahaha) On a happier note, the acting in this show is A list quality! The sets and costumes are really authentic looking also. So there are some redeeming qualities. hahahaha It's just sometimes they kill people and they don't always tell you why up front. If there is a season 2, I will definitely be watching, but mainly for the HOT guys and not the story lines. hahahahaha
