Okay this is some mess. Comedian and writer Terry Hodges is suing comedian Chris Tucker over back earnings owed in the amount of $68,000.00 for fees accrued from years of editing, writing, acting and producing work for the program. Hodges claim that he started writing for Tucker back 2008 and the last time he received regular payments was 2011. Well, that's on you fool, this is 2015, If I hadn't been paid in 6 months, I would quit. I certainly wouln't allow it to go on for 4 yrs!!! That's just ridiculous!!! Which is sort of what Tucker's Attorney, Marty Singer stated. “This lawsuit is absurd and completely without merit,” Singer said in a statement. “We fully expect this case to be thrown out by the court.” Well, alright then, case solved. hahahaha I'll be watching, will you?
Tucker's standup special, "Chris Tucker Live" is slated to start streaming this Friday on Netflix, that's why they are also named in the suit. hahahaha Plus Netflix has deeper pockets, I wonder what happened with Tucker filing for bankruptcy? Was that case ever resolved? I'm gonna look into that and let you know. Okay?
