Legendary Wrestler Roddy Piper, Dead at 61 Yrs!!!
Wow, this is shocking. I just saw him on a reality show looking for a house with his wife, recently. Legendary wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper passed away in his sleep last night from a heart attack, he was just 61 yrs old. Roddy's real name is Roddy Toombs rose to fame in the 1980s. Born in Saskatchewan, Canada, Piper competed in the very first
Wrestlemania, working a faux-Scottish angle in a tag-team match (along
with Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff) against Hulk Hogan and Mr. T, and
quickly became one of the sport's most hated villains. After retiring from wrestling, Roddy became a movie star. He portrayed a lot of disenfranchised guys who were just out to do right and live a good life, however, life just kept kicking then in the teeth. He was a pretty good actor too. I can't name a movie he was in, because they were all B and C type films. hahahaha Rest in peace Roddy.
