Paris Fashion Week Is Nothing But CRAP!!!

Ok, I am all for avant garde fashion and innovation. But dressing grown men in leggings and Bermuda shorts is not FASHION! It's JUNK and CRAP! I just reviewed the slides in the article titled "15 reasons why Paris fashion week is Crazy" and they were 15 slides of garbage. The first slide depicted a woman wearing knit cap and bright white fur collard snuggie. EWWW!!! "Designer" and I use that term VERY loosely!, Christophe Josse is credited with that monstrosity! The next slide is from Thom Browne's line, mensware, bright bold red military styled jackets some with long peplums almost to the knee and bold sunglasses with one gold and one black lens and Naval Officer caps, also in red and black. Accented with Gold buttons and emblems. Now if you are 5 yrs old and playing dress up, this outfit is perfect. But not for the NORMAL 34 yr old man who maybe hasn't escaped from an asylum. hahahaha Or is NOT the King of Pop! MJ would love these jackets. But the WORST look of all belongs to Iris Van Herpen, a one shoulder knee length sheath with curly strips of fabric jutting out form the shoulders and hips like weeping willow branches. And the icing on the cake for this monstrosity is the white ankle boots that look like Freddie Kruger or Wolverine took a dislike and to and shredded their sides. There are other train wrecks depicted in the slides but I am exhausted just thinking about them. I think clothes should be fun and wearable and functional. If you want to be innovative try designing your own prints. Because believe it or not, NO ONE can redesign a pair of pants or a dress. Pants must have 2 legs because men have 2 legs. Dresses must have 2 arm holes or sleeves because women have 2 arms. You can only change the lengths of the pants or the lengths of the skirts other than that there's not much else you can do. All 15 slides were disappointing! Gianni Versace must be turning over in his grave at the smut his sister is putting out! So sad. Just so Sad!
