That's right folks, 2 QUACK surgeons, Dr. Ren Xiaoping, who along with Italian surgeon Dr. Sergio Canavero, hope to
attempt the procedure within two years, but only if the preparatory
research and tests go according to plan, Ren said. I just have one BIG question to ask them, if they transplant a human head from one body to the next, how are they going to repair the spinal connections? As far as I know, surgeons are still unable to repair the spinal column once it is severed.
The man who has volunteered for the operation is Russian-born Valery
Spiridonov, 30, who suffers from Werdnig-Hoffmann disease, which is a
progressive and incurable wasting ailment. Well, I can see why this guy would want to volunteer for this kind of operation. But I wonder if he is aware that even if he survives the operation, he will be a quadriplegic? Don't do it Valery!!! He might as well just blow his head off. So sad.
I doubt that this operation is gonna take place, these 2 have been talking about performing it since 2010. It's nice to have dreams. hahahaha
