WWE Wrestler Sting Seriously Injured During Match!!!
WWE wrestler Sting, real name Steve Borden , was injured on Sunday during a match with reigning Champion Seth Rollins in Houston. Seth performed a maneuver on Sting called a "buckle bomb", where you throw your opponent into the corner turnbuckle. Usually, they are uninjured but that was not the case this time, this time Sting's head and neck were whipped back violently this time. Sting collapsed when he tried to walk away. His back was in pain and his legs were so weak that his right leg quivered violently and then gave out a couple of seconds later causing Sting to collapse. Sting then struggled to get up which it took him a few mins to do so, but then he collapsed again almost immediately. Sting is definitely seriously injured, so much so that it might a career ending injury. Sting is 56 years old, and even though he was in top notch physical condition, he is too old to get bounced around so violently and then just walk away like nothing happened. The referee then signaled for the trainer to attend to Sting. After a brief delay, the match continued and Sting and Rollins reversed Sting's Scorpion Death Lock winning the match and retaining his championship belt.
After the event, veteran wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer that “Sting's injury was legitimate and we're trying to get more information on it. The early reports we have is that the injury was significant." No other information or details have been released. So let's pray that Sting is not permanently injured and that he will recover.
