Former Lorimar Co-Founder Merv Adelson, Dead at 85 Yrs!

Merv Adelson, the former co-founder of Lorimar Production Company, died this week, he was 85 yrs old. Lorimar was the production company that put out such hits as "Dallas", "Knots Landing", "The Waltons", "Eight is Enough" and "Love Connection". Merv was also married Newswoman Barbara Walters, twice. No word on the cause of death or where he died. Merv at one point was quite wealthy, but due to the dotcom meltdown he lost most of his $300 million dollar fortune and at one point ended up living in a 500 sqr foot condo in Santa Monica. Rest in peace Merv.
