Singer Linda Ronstadt Can Sing No More!
Aww this is really sad. I have enjoyed many a song from Linda Ronstadt over the years so it is really sad that she can not sing any more. Linda Ronstadt revealed this week that she Parkinson's disease and it has robbed her of her singing voice. Parkinson's Disease is a neurological degenerative disease, and because of its affects Linda can no longer control the muscles in her throat which have her her beautiful singing voice. Awww, so sad. We will have to listen to her albums now and no more live performances. "You're No Good" is one of my favorite pop/country songs. And I also enjoyed the duets she used to do with Aaron Neville. Aaron's beautiful falsetto and Linda's soulful/pop counterpoint on "I Don't Know Much" will live on forever live on thanks to cds and mp3s. Wow, knowing that Linda cant sing anymore, is kind of like her dying. We have lost another great singer. It's just so sad! Linda thought her symptons were due to tick disease as she had been bitten by a tick awhile ago. She also had surgery on her shoulder and thought that was the cause of her hands shaking. She says, she never thought to go to a neurologist. But when she finally did, he could tell right away from her symptons that it was Parkinson's Disease. Unfortunately there is no cure for Parkinson's.
