Actor Patrick Macnee of "Avengers" Fame, Dead at 93 Yrs!

Oh wow, he's a blast from the past. Actor Patrick Macnee who portrayed John Steel in the original 1960s series called the Avengers, passed away from natural causes at his home in Rancho Mirage, California. He was 93 yrs old. The Avengers was a British show about 2 secret agents, John Steed and his cohort Miss Emma Peel. John had a sword hidden in his umbrella and his Bowler had a steel plate in it. Miss Emma Peel (portrayed by the beautiful Diana Rigg) was a Karate master and often would beat the hell out of the bad guys. Karate chopping her way out of one sticky situation or another. hahahaha John Steel was very dapper and dressed to impress always in his 3 piece suits. Rest in peace Patrick.
