Okay, I have said it b4 and I'll say it again. This is 2015, not 1915, DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN IN YOUR CAR WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING!!! PERIOD!!!!! An unidentified mother, stopped at 7/11 in Los Angeles to get some gas, she had her 2 yr and 10 yr daughters in the car with her. She left the engine running and went inside to pay for her gas. While inside, a man who had just made a purchase walked out saw that her car's engine was running and so he jumps inside and takes off. The mother sees the whole thing go down and she runs out of the store yelling, "No! NO! NO!". As the car turns to exit the 7/11 parking lot, the 10 yr old grabs her baby sister and opens the back door of the car and they jump out. Both were received minor injuries, but they will make a full recovery. The man kept going, he was later identified as 24 yr old Corey Michael Ahumada. Police are now searching for him and a warrant is out for his arrest. (Ahumada was identified as a suspect through surveillance video footage showing him making a purchase at the 7-Eleven prior to the incident, KABC reported.)
"We could just hear her [the mom] screaming, 'No, no, no,'” said an eyewitness, Deriree Aguila. "It was horrible ... everybody in the store was crying. The clerks were crying.” I feel ya gurl. It was heart wrenching to watch that video and see the car take off knowing that the 2 little girls were in the back seat. And what if Corey was after the 2 little girls? The mother could be planning 2 funerals now. Thank God she isn't. Personally, I think she should lose custody of her children because she is obviously too stupid to know that you do not leave children in a car unattended with the engine running anywhere in the USA. PERIOD!!!!!! She is just so lucky that she all she lost today was her car. God was definitely looking out for her kids.
