The Maloofs are SCAMMING Sacramento!!!

The Maloofs are the owners of the Sacramento Kings' Basketball Team. The King's are the WORST team in the NBA, possibly of all time. hahahaha Well, the Maloofs were having financial problems recently. Now fast forward to the end of Jan 2011 and all of a sudden the Maloofs let it leak out that they might be moving the Kings down to Anaheim because Sacramento refuses to build the team a new stadium. I think this was all a big ruse to get the people of Sacramento who are loyal to the Kings to step up and start attending the games. Because they are the worst team, they haven't been drawing in the crowds like they were say back in 2005. I think this is just reprehensible. The Maloofs must get permission from the NBA and other team owners to move the team and I think that's not going to happen. Anaheim already has 2 other teams in the area...LA Lakers and LA Clippers. So I dont see a move to Anaheim being a good fit for anyone. Why would you put 3 teams in the same area, when you have one team, the LA Lakers who are a Championship Winning Team and draw huge crowds. If you lived in Anaheim and you had money to spend on basketball tickets, would you pay to see the Kings, who suck (on Thur 31 March 2011, the Kings' record was 21 wins and 53 losses). Or would you pay to see the LA Lakers who always play GREAT basketball?

I think that by threatening to leave Sacramento, the Maloofs have guaranteed that their bottom line will increase by an outpouring of support by the people of Sacramento. Because everyone knows, the real money that is made at sporting events is not from ticket sales, but it is from the concessions. And just maybe, maybe the Kings will finally get a stadium out of all of this too. Since so many stadium deals have fallen apart over the last 5yrs.

I say, fuck the Maloofs and fuck the Kings, let them leave and everyone should STOP going to their home games and buying beer and foods. hahahahahaha  It's not like they are really doing anything for the City of Sacramento anyway.
