He owns 1,910,000 acres across 6 different states (Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Montana, and South Dakota. His biggest plot of land is 920 square miles in New Mexico, called the Vermejo Park Ranch. He also owns the biggest herd of bison, estimated to be about 50,000 head .
