Aww, this is really sad. "The Clown Prince of Basketball" Meadowlark Lemon, who played for the Harlem Globetrotters Basketball Team passed away in Scottsdale Arizona yesterday. The cause of death has not been released by the family. He was 83 years old. Meadow played for the Harlem Globetrotters for about 20 yrs, from the 1950s to the 1970s. He was best known for his half court hook shots, over the head passes and a water bucket full of confetti.He was a joy to watch and listen to. He is survived by his wife and daughter. Rest in peace, Meadowlark.
