Legendary MLB Broadcaster and Player Joe Garagiola, Dead at 90 Yrs!

Legendary Major League Baseball broadcaster and player Joe Garagiola passed away, he was 90 yrs old. The cause of death was not released, if known. Joe started playing baseball way back in 1940s and even won the World Series in 1946 playing for the St Louis Cardinals. After playing for many years, Joe retired and became an announcer. That job lasted some 58 years and Joe won many awards for his announcing skills including being the winner of the Baseball Hall of Fame's Ford C. Frick Award in 1991 and Buck O'Neill Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014. Joe is survived by his wife of many years, and 3 grown children and their families. Rest in peace Joe.
