Storming Norman! The 4 Star General Norman Schwarzkopf, who lead the USA to victory in Desert Storm Gulf War has died suddenly in his home at 2:22pm today in Tampa Florida. The cause of death was not released. Gen. Schwarzkopf was just 78yrs old.
Also dead at the young age of 72 yrs is former Austin Police officer Houston McCoy. Mr McCoy was the officer who way back in 1966 shot and killed the sniper Charles Whitman who had killed 16 people from atop the University of Texas tower. Mr McCoy had a terminal illness that he had been battling for the past year. Rest in peace officer and Stormin Norman too.
So who is next? I am gonna go out on a limb and say that we are going lose at least 3 more before the end of the first week in 2013. It always seems to happen like this. We lose a few right b4 and right after the new year.
