Beyonce is nothing if not innovative! And trendsetting. Word on the street for years now is that Record Companies were edging out the physical compact disc and going completely digital. Well, it looks like Beyonce is the first to go completely digital and she released a new CD on Itunes consisting of 14 new studio songs and 17 videos. The new CD is titled "Beyonce", wow, that's smart. (Not! gurl you couldn't think of a real title? hahahaha) It is exclusively on ITunes and can be downloaded there for a fee. (But of course dahling. hahahahaha) This is Beyonce's 5th solo cd since she left the group Destiny's Child.
Oh wait, at the end of the Yahoo article about the digital release, it says that this CD will also be released in hard copy format in time for the holidays. So all of you people out there who don't have an ITunes account, don't worry you will be able to get your copy of the CD just like the olden days. hahahahaha Good looking out Beyonce. Personally, I think Beyonce is just hedging her bets, release it digitally first and make a killing then release it on disc and make a second killing. This gurl is all about her paper. hahahaha And it's selling like hotcakes on ITunes! ITunes reported today that it should debut at #1 next week and that it had sold over 500,000 downloads in the first 2 days. You better work! Good job Beyonce.
