13 Yr Old Boy Murders Father and Conceals Crime for Almost a Week

Wow, this is just so shocking! An unnamed 13 yr old boy murdered his father about a week ago by shooting him at least 2 times in the head. Once in the back of the head from a distance and then again in the temple at close range causing a contact wound. The boy then hide the fact that his father was dead for at least 6 days telling everyone including the man's employer that he was ill and in bed. The employer finally got suspicious when the father himself didn't phone in and was unreachable and they called the sheriff's office for a welfare check. When the sheriff's show up at the home, the boy informed them that his father was dead inside the house and had been dead for several days. There is no motive for the killing and the boy is now being held in a juvenile detention center while the sheriff's office continues it's investigation. The boy and his father had lived in the home for about 1 yr alone and the boy's mother who is divorced from the father lives elsewhere in Colorado. Neighbors didn't recall hearing anything unusual from the home on the day of the murder. Neighbors also stated that the father and son were quiet and no one had a clue anything was wrong until the sherriffs' show up for the welfare check.
