Portuguese Police Plan to Dig Near Resort Where Madeleine McCann Was Kidnapped From

Wow, it's been 7 yrs since this little girl was kidnapped but apparently there is new evidence that is prompting the Portuguese Police to want to dig in some land near the resort where Madeleine McCann was kidnapped from. They now believe that a pedophile who has broken into at least a dozen resorts in the area where British tourists have vacationed over the years. Personally, I think this is all a day late and  a dollar short. Madeleine McCann is either dead or she has been a sex slave for the last 7 yrs. And the only way to determine if she is still with us will have to be from DNA, should they find a girl alive somewhere. Because I am sure that 15yr old sex slave Madeleine will not remember that she was 3 yr old Madeleine. This is just such a tragic story. But I still blame the parents. They were too stupid to be parents. First of all, they left all of their children alone in an UNLOCKED rental and went down the street and around the corner to the pool to drink and socialize with friends. AND they left the windows open in the rental. The only thing they didn't do was put up a giant sign saying , children alone and sleeping please help yourself. And then they kept minimizing their negligence by saying, "we were only out at the pool". Yeah, they didn't tell you that to get to the pool, once you exited the rental, you had to walk down a walk way to the street, about half of a city block, turn right at the street, walk down a full city block to a gate that led to the pool. And in between the pool and the rental, there was a 6 foot high wall of bushes. So the rental was completely obstructed from view from the wall of bushes. Well, I wish the police good luck and I hope they find Madeleine's skeleton. That way this would finally be over for the McCann family. It would be sad, but it would be over somewhat. I think not knowing what happened is far worst than finding her dead. I don't know why the family didn't bring a nanny with with them or hire someone from the hotel to watch the kids that night? it's not like they were poor, the father is a doctor and I believe the mother is one too. They should have been able to afford to hire an au pair for the children! Oh well, this might be one of those cases that is never resolved. So sad.
