Okay, here we go again. The Chief Justice Roy Moore of the Alabama Supreme Court has issued an order staying the issue of marriage licenses to same sex couples. However, this is a lower court the United States Supreme Court who ordered that same sex marriages were legal in ALL 50 STATES!!! So this is akin to a member of congress telling the President of the United States that he doesn't like an Executive Order issued by the President. It's ASS BACKWARDS!!!! A State Supreme Court CANNOT OVER RULE THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT!!!
Roy is a Republican! I think Roy is just trying to get his 15 mins of fame. The Southern Poverty Law Center, which has an ongoing ethics complaint against Moore, said he should be removed from the bench for telling the state's judges to enforce Alabama's ban on same-sex marriage.
"It’s a disgrace to his office that he occupies it," said Richard Cohen, president of the Alabama-based law center. Cohen said judges who follow Moore's order risked being held in contempt of court for violating the federal judge's ruling.
One probate judge, Steven Reed in Montgomery, Alabama, said his office would not heed the administrative order. "Judge Moore's latest charade is just sad & pathetic," Reed posted on Twitter. Oh well, there is at least 1 person in Alabama who is not a retard and a moron!!! Thank you Steven!
Clearly, Roy does not need to be on the bench any longer. If you refuse to abide by the laws of this country, then leave. Buy yourself an Island somewhere and start your own country. Other wise, get in line like the rest of us and do what is right not what ever the fuck you want to.
