Actress Julia Roberts' half sister, Nancy Motes was found dead in a home that she was house sitting in for friends in Los Angeles. She was 37 yrs old, no official word on the cause of death. However, the Roberts family released a statement saying in part that Nancy was found dead of an apparent drug overdose. Hmmm, I wonder if she had a needle in her arm like Phillip Seymour Hoffman? Sigh, I know life is hard, but drugs are NOT the answer! Rest in peace Nancy.

LA County Coroner's office has confirmed with US Weekly today that Nancy Motes left a suicide note. Also, there both prescription and illicit drugs found in the home where Nancy's body was found. And she was found in the bathtub. Wow, why didn't any of her family know that she was struggling and depressed? The autopsy has been completed but the toxicology report will not be back for several weeks maybe as many as 10 weeks time. Julia Roberts has cancelled most of her scheduled appearances for the next few weeks including an appearance of Jimmy Kimmel Live and the Academy Award Luncheon.
