Actress And Singer Vanessa Williams Returns to the Miss America Pageant as the Head Judge!

Disgraced as the First Black Miss America, singer and actress Vanessa Williams is returning the Miss America Pageant as the Head Judge. Way back in the 1980s Vanessa Williams won the crown and became the First Black Miss America. However, her reign was short lived because Penthouse published some pretty racy nude pics of a young Vanessa with some white model. So Vanessa did what any lady with class does when faced with adversity, she resigned her crown. Living well is the best revenge, and that's exactly what Vanessa did. She went on to have an absolutely astounding career in the recording industry, films and television and on Broadway.  Her work has been honored by 4 Emmy nominations; 17 Grammy nominations (of which 11 were for her individually); a Tony nomination, 3 Screen Actors Guild award nominations; 7 NAACP Image Awards; and a Golden Globe, Grammy and an Oscar for Best Original Song for her platinum single “Colors of the Wind,” from the Disney film “Pocahontas.” And now after many years she will return to the Miss America Pageant as the Head Judge, congratulations Vanessa.
