Amber Heard, Wife of Actor Johnny Depp Charged in Australia For Illegally Importing Dogs There!

Aha! I love it when celebrities get treated like every day Joes. Amber Heard, the wife of actor Johnny Depp was charged with 2 counts of illegally importing dogs into Australia and 1 count of producing a false document. The first 2 counts carry a maximum prison term of 10 years and a $102,000.00 Aus dollars ($75,000 USD) fine, and the last count carries a maximum prison sentence of just 1 yr and a $10,200.00 AUS dollars ($7,500 USD) fine. So Amber is facing 11 yrs total. This is the conclusion of dog-gate, which occurred when Johnny and Amber returned to Australia so that Johnny could finish shooting Pirates of the Carri bean 5 and they brought their 2 Yorkshire Terriers with them on their private jet. Amber is charged with the false document charge because she lied on her incoming passenger card.\

The doggie debacle began in May, after Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce accused Depp, 52, of smuggling the couple's Yorkshire terriers aboard his private jet when he returned to Australia to resume filming of the fifth movie in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series.

Barnaby Joyce,  the Agriculture Minister had ordered that the terriers be sent back to the USA or else they were going to euthanized. And he gave the Depps 72 hrs in which to accomplish this. They complied and sent the dogs home via  a commercial jet.

Depp was not charged. And the media is rampant with speculation as to why that is. However, he could be charged later on. Rich people need to stop thinking they can just do what ever the hell they want to do and fuck laws and common sense.

If you want to bring a pet with you to Australia, you first must petition them, then once you arrive, the pet has to undergo quarantine for a minimum of 10 days. 10 days is not a long time.
