Tainted Candy Sickens More Than 1300 Children in the Phillipines!

This is a hot ass mess and what's so fucked up about it is that it was done on purpose. Initially, 1050 children fell ill after eating candy bought at lunchtime from traveling group. By the end of the day, that number rose to 1,350. 9 people have been arrested as the police are investigating and they police say the group traveled 190 miles just to sell the candy. So now the police think that the candy was tainted or poisoned and this group of 9 set out from jump street to infect these children on purpose. Otherwise, why travel almost 200 miles right?

"High school students in the Surigao del Sur province were taken to the hospital after complaining of nausea, diarrhea, and headaches, an official told The Associated Press. They lived in Tandag, the provincial capital, and the towns of Cagwait, Tago, Bayabas, and Marihatag.

While the sellers have denied any intention of causing food poisoning, the police are testing samples of the durian, mango, and mangosteen-flavored sweets to determine whether they were laced with poison or simply past their expiration date. HAH! There's the first problem right there. Durian flavored candy! EWWWW!!! Durian is a fruit that looks like a giant corn nut (like watermelon sized) with spikes it contains a milky white pudding type flesh with giant seeds, however, the flesh of the durian also has an extremely atrocious strong odor. Which can be described as sweaty socks, sour laundry, or baby milk farts. None of which sound appetizing, right? LOL As a matter of fact in some hotels in Asia, it is forbidden to possess or cut open a durian fruit inside the hotel. hahahaha

The police have not identified the 9 people that were arrested in connection with this case, suffice it to say, the only information given on the 9 is that 7 of them are out of school youths.

Finally, all 1,350 students are expected to make a full recovery. Thank God.
