FBI Ups Reward to $4.2 Million for the Creator of Zeus Malware!!!

Dayum, I wish I knew where this guy was. I sure could use $4.2 million dollars. hahahaha Yesterday, the FBI Cyber Squad upped the ransom for Evgeniy Mikhailovich Bogachev, the man they believe created and used Zeus malware to steal millions of dollars and hundreds of thousands, maybe as many as 1 million user passwords and bank account login information. They believe that Bogachev is hiding out in a Russian coastal town called Anapa, where he drives his yacht up and down the coast. Hmm, if you know that, why cant you just stake out some of the ports along the coast and wait until his yacht docks and then swoop in and arrest him. A yacht is not something you can hide very easily, right?

Zeus is a financially focused malware designed to steal valuable information from machines, such as bank account numbers, passwords, personal identification numbers, and online banking account login details.

The FBI says he is currently "wanted for his alleged involvement in a wide-ranging racketeering enterprise and scheme that installed, without authorisation, malicious software known as ‘Zeus’ on victims’ computers.” Bogachev is wanted for conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to participate in racketeering, conspiracy to violate the computer fraud and abuse act, conspiracy to violate identity theft and assumption deterrence act, money laundering, bank fraud, wire fraud, and computer fraud, Wow! That's some laundry list of charges. I hope I run into him at Walmart. LOL
