FBI Arrests 2 Mayors in South Florida on Corruption Charges

This is just disgusting!  The FBI has arrested 2 Mayors in South Florida, Michael Pizzi of Miami Lakes and Manual Marono of Sweetwater. Both were arrested on charges stemming from a sting operation. Both were arrested on accepting thousands of dollars in bribes in separate schemes. Marono, 41 yrs old, is being held on $250,000.00 bond and Pizzi, 51 yrs old is being held on $50,000.00 bond. Marono received $40,000.00 in bribes and Pizzi received just $6, 750.00. Both men have bonded out at this time. The Vice-Mayors are now in charge in each respective city and Sweetwater is planning a special election in 90 days. Attorneys for both men refused to comment other than to say, "all charges will be answered in court" and our clients are "innocent until proven guilty". Blah blah blah. Sounds like double talk to me, you know the FBI has photographs, videos and audio tapes of the bribes. These 2 dimwits should try and cut deal, that's the best way out of this. Otherwise they are going to end up in Leavenworth making little rocks out of big rocks. hahahahaha
