The family of one of Dennis Hastert's sexual abuse victims has come forward and named their brother, Steve Reinboldt as one of many victims from the 1970s. Dennis was the coach and teacher for the wrestling team and Steve was the equipment manager for the wrestling team. Joelene Reinboldt claims that her older brother Steve, came out to her and told her that Dennis Hastert was his first gay sexual experience. She states that, “I asked him, when was your first same sex experience. He looked at me and said, ‘It was with Dennis Hastert,’” Jolene said. “I was stunned."Jolene said she asked her brother why he never told anyone. “And he just turned around and kind of looked at me and said, ‘Who is ever going to believe me?’” She says it wasn't until the FBI showed up on her door asking questions and telling her that Dennis was going to be indicted that she thought, wow, now we can finally get the word out about what Dennis did to her brother. So far Dennis is only being charged with the bank fraud and lying to the FBI.
Several messages were left for comments from Dennis, but he went into hiding after he was indicted and released on bail. Wouldn't you be in hiding if all of your dirty little secrets were coming into the light? LOL
